RAC Structure
Our leadership structure consists of a Central Board that will work through an International Board of Governors comprised of a central board member that is the President of the Board of Governors who works with 6 regional Governors heading up our 6 Regional Advisory Councils (RACs).
Governance of a global company can best gain operational efficiency by taking a broad geographical and cultural group and breaking it down into decentralized regions, forming effective and agile teams to help direct and translate global policy to our local members in their communities. RACs will be instrumental in providing us with local and regional credibility as well as sounding boards for feedback on needed initiatives to the central board.
Refractive Surgeons who practice in each region of the world are in the best position to guide WCRS programs according to the needs of their region. This will give us immediate global visibility.
Successful cross-border international operations will require astute global awareness and cultural fluency. To work seamlessly across the barriers of culture, language, and geography, we will depend heavily on the advice and participation of our multi-national Founder, Trustee, and Visionary group and our Regional Advisory Councils.
